Dr. Anton Helman, Founder & Host of EM Cases, Interviewed by The Pulse!

Dr. Anton Helman was interviewed by The Pulse, North York General Hospital's newsletter for the July-August issue. Dr. Helman created EM Cases in 2010, which now has thousands of followers and over 1.4 million downloads. 

He discusses his path to success, and shares advice for those who wish to start their own podcast. He also shares his opinion on the benefits of social media as a global medium for medical education:

"In the medical field, we tend to work in silos and social media has broken down these silos. Before the World Wide Web, hospitals didn't communicate as much to other hospitals, countries didn't share as freely with other countries… What FOAMed allowed us to do was to take all the best ideas from around the world and come to a global community consensus."
