Dr. Bjug Borgundvaag wins the 2017 CAEP Dr. Helen Karounis Memorial Award for Professionalism in Emergency Medicine

We are pleased to announce that SREMI Director Dr. Bjug Borgundvaag has won the 2017 Dr. Helen Karounis Memorial Award for Professionalism in Emergency Medicine. This award recognizes a CAEP member who upholds the highest standard of professionalism in emergency medicine.

Dr. Borgundvaag's nominators describe him as "a wonderful friend, colleague, leader, mentor, researcher and teacher, but most of all, he is a kind and compassionate physician to his patients." He will receive the award on Tuesday, June 6th at CAEP 2017 in Whistler, BC.
